My Dear Friends and Family -

As we all sit in a giant bottomless bowl of uncertainty soup, I want to remind you that we can also access our joy at any point in the day. It’s a choice. I know we’re living in unprecedented times and it’s unsettling. I’m trying to find the gift of time without being afraid of myself and without thinking into the future. Every day is a new opportunity to learn self-trust as I sit here un-hugged and far from people I love. One should never take a hug for granted …

And, while it’s admittedly strange and scary to think the world has pressed pause in so many ways - now is as good a time as any to connect to yourself and to your home. The time is ripe to stop bi%^&in’, get in the kitchen and cook the fears out of your heart. Worst case, you end up with a fully stocked freezer.

My kitchen dancing and creations have been bolder and brighter than ever. Color continues to inspire me, cooking from my pantry, and in memory of my family. Before we were told to stay home, with the exception of leaving for essentials, I stocked up on produce, wrapped it well and made some freezer friendly meals.

I also realized my weekly shopping and cooking is no different than coronavirus prep …

So, I wanted to drop you a few recipes. Stories that may make you smile or skip the story and get right to the cooking. Below you’ll find meals that freeze well, a double dare to dip, memories and recipes from my childhood and something sweet for tea.

Here’s a round-up of some of my favorite recipes on Tina To Table

Need help planning a meal? Frustrated with grocery shopping? I’d love to put together a group to support everyone I’ve met and anyone who needs it. Totally free, just be open, have a pen and paper and I’m happy to share tips, recipes, listen to what you have to say when it comes to life, food and living through this tough time. You’re not alone. Email me@tinacorrado.com if you’re interested and I’ll set up a Google Hangout or Zoom class so we can inspire one another.

We need each other more than ever, and I’m here for you.

Get in the kitchen. Set your table. Plate pretty.

And whether you eat alone or eat within a respectable social distance to those you love, be grateful for the meal you made and the time you have.

XO
With Love,
Tina
