Tina’s artwork is colorful, body positive and joyful. If it makes her feel something - a word, a moment, the abstraction of a
person in a bird or flower - she paints it. Her dream is to inspire others to enjoy life every day as its being lived; no matter where
one might find themselves on their journey. To feel good - mind, body, heart and spirit. To choose joy and love
because it took her a long time to get there. To replace hurt with hope and color.
The abstractions and explorations of various body shapes, sizes and compositions in her artwork evolved from Tina’s
personal story of mind/body transformation. She has maintained the weight loss for the last 22 years; making her life’s work one of
mental and physical evolutions. During this period she also underwent skin removal and breast surgery - which
further altered the way she looked at herself - beyond the physical - and the world around her. Creating art
was a continued part of her healing process and another way to share that all bodies are beautiful.
